In addition to European wines, the products of overseas wine regions – those of South America, South Africa and Australia – have also become easily available in our country. Therefore, we can get to know the wines, we might like them as well, but do not know anything about the wine-region where they come from. The present article invites readers for a quick visit to the important wine-regions of the world in order to change this situation.

Michel Seed or is there any place in the Sun for family enterprises in seed production?
(Dr. Norbert Somogyi)
Today around the world we can see that the seed market (among others) has been more and more concentrated. Market leaders, by acquiring smaller companies, are seeking a greater share in order to increase their influence, while the smaller, often family-run seed companies increasingly become unfeasible. In France, this process is no different either; therefore the enterprise presented in this article is very rare even in the French vegetable seed market.

(Dr. Zoltán Mucsányi, Dr. Attila Ótós)
At EU level, by 2020 the share of energy from renewable sources will have to reach 20%. The mandatory share to be reached in our country is 13%. Biomass as a renewable energy source may play a prominent role in achieving the domestic commitments, because our country possesses perfect agro-ecological conditions for its production. Therefore, biomass power plants (including the ones using woody and herbaceous biomass, as well as biogas) provide considerable potentials to agricultural stakeholders. This is why we wish to present readers these opportunities and the legal and business challenges emerging during their exploitation.

A community, should it be a closed one or more open with several informal relations, very rarely lets out its internal affairs and problems. The situation might be different with journalists by the fact that readers can be duly interested in the non-private situation of the ones making journals. That is the case also with the authors working for technical journals. This is the reason why the current ‘Notes’ has been produced.
