Although grape black rot has been known in our country for a long time, in the last 100-200 years it did not cause significant economic damage. Year 2010, however, brought a serious alarm in grapes. Due to the lack of experience with the disease, the control and prevention options are limited and surprisingly little information is available about the resistance aspects. This article informs on this topic, describing the results having been obtained so far in Hungary.
